FYI- The Ring Pathlight needs 4 D-cell batteries (not included). Ring recommends using standard alkaline batteries in the Pathlights.

I have a pair of these on my driveway. After almost 10 months, even when activated many times daily (20+) and having the lights activated several times when dark (at least a half dozen times), I still have 50%+ battery on my Pathlights! So, I wouldn't get my shorts in a bunch over the cost of 8 D alkaline batteries.

I have a really good feeling they are just attaching junk to the Bridge to get rid of those path lights bc from what I've heard they are discontinuing it. I had a really hard time finding mine, and had to find a package deal like this to get a hold of one. I will say, I am happy with the system now that I have it all set up, but I def felt betrayed when I bought the Ring landscape lighting transformers and then couldn't find a Bridge to save my life.

I have a couple local stores showing stock, but not the clearance price link. Debating if it's worth a drive to see if they are on clearance.

Why would battery powered, motion activated path lights need a bridge? Will they work without the bridge?
