I wanted the S2 steel bits and have ordered one. Hope they are indeed S2 steel, can anyone confirm? Description says the bits are HRC70, not sure about this claim, this also indicates the bits could be extremely brittle, but for precision work that should be OK.

edit : I just went to look, same exact set as this, same brand. It appears the one I was using was missing the magnet inside, the other few I just looked at were fine. Disregard my initial comment, just maybe verify when you get them.

these things are actual junk. My work bought a bunch for $3.25 for branded give away crap. I tried using it and the inside of the tool pushed up, it is hollow inside, so now there are like 2-3 bits inside it, and can't fit another bit in it.

Cannot believe it! - Drilling it hollow is more work during manufacturing, are you sure you didn't get a dud? or just making it up ? ;-)

Surely you saw my edit since your reply was 2 hours later and its quoted in your response, but yes, I said the original one I was using was a dud, and missing the magnet inside.

Thanks, Appreciate it. The page with edited comment may have not refreshed, until I pressed "Reply", which I clearly did not pay attention to.

I should have and could have worded my response a bit better. Apologizes, not a good excuse but it has been a few long days. I tried using the screwdriver last night when a transport switch died and e911 among many other services went down. I then hit a lynx on the way home

Off topic but sorry it's been such a rough one. Thanks for extra clarifying your comment even tho situation makes sense you might not.
Less junk shipped out to have to turn into waste (and $ lost) the better.
Thanks again. Hope things trend up.

Hey guys. I'm looking for a good explanation to give my wife when she asks about the two screwdriver sets I bought today. Any suggestions?

I just received 2 that I ordered. No issues with the driver and bits, however the sliding top plastic lid seems to be unreliable. In my case I just got these for the bits, so no biggy.

"Wife" and "Screwdriver" probably are inappropriate to go in the same sentence.
