I have my doubts that the Geek Squad could fix a faulty SSD.

When this model was first released, the firmware was killing the hard drive from within. Samsung did fix the problem with new firmware BUT BUT BUT....
The damage done to the longevity of the hard drive could NEVER be fixed. It was showing 10% of drive life was used within a month of usage before the fixed firmware was available... many months later.
For this specific model... I recommend new.

Throughout the years I have bought about 6 nvme ssd drives that were labeled geek squad and it ranged from zero writes to one having 15GB of usage.

Geek squad is incompetent. I bet you can data recover these drives and pull the previous owner's passwords.txt
